This extravagant table clock was made by Peter Klein in Dresden about 1738: The globe in the centre rotates once a day, like the earth, and moves the pointer around the clock, with the North Pole facing outwards. There's also a glass shade that darkens the areas of the earth that are currently experiencing darkness.
