Clocks – Decor :
A most unusual and striking boulle clock. Decorated with ormolu mounts having boullework of inlaid brass and tortoiseshell stained in different colours. The scrolling pillars terminate in eagles' heads and are decorated with mother-of pearl flowers. The elaborate ormolu pendulum has a bird in foliage with porcelain flowers. The dial with 12 porcelain cartouches and superb gilt bronze hands. 8 day bell striking movement. Circa 1850……….Gavin Douglas Antiques
