Decorative Boxes

I saw this design by Gary Rogowski in the 1999 Nov/Dec issue of FWW. In my version I changed the dimensions and added ebony plugs at the corner lap joints. I am pleased with look. The main wood is bubinga with a maple bottom for a light effect inside the box. The box was a joy to make with all the handplaning of the sides and top. — David Thiessen
