Located 2015 in the White Drawing Room of Buckingham Palace, London, UK. Marble, Gilded & Bronze Mantle Clock by Jean Antoine Lépine. Cylinder Mantel Clock with Gilt Eagle on Top on garlands of fruit & flowers. Raised on Gilt block of cherubs playing with a goat by 2 sculptures of a draped woman & a cherub. A Marble base has Gilt Arabesques on 6 peg feet. The Clock has an Enamel Dial in Arabic & pierced Gilt hands. Bought by George IV (1762-1830) UK, Uncle of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) UK.
