A Louis XVI ormolu mantle clock Late 18th century, France. The case crowned with a lyre, firegilt bronze ornaments referring to the theatre. The case flanked by two marble columns embellished with firegilt bronze ornaments. Enamelled dial face with Roman cyphers enclosed in a refined firegilt lunette and a beaded edge, mirroring the bronze decoration of the columns. Central under the case a wedgwood japerware plaque.
